Neve’s Bees Aromatherapy Body Oil 100ml – Bee Sleepy

A beautifully nourishing, lightweight body oil for soft, supple skin that glows with natural health. Enriched with a calming and relaxing blend of pure natural essential oils, this little tin of beauty sleep will help you to unwind at the end of your day. Suitable for all over body use and great to use after a relaxing bath or shower on slightly damp skin.

Lavender – Highly regarded for helping to improve the quality of your sleep. Lavender was always going to be a ‘must have’ in our Bee Sleepy blend.

Frankincense – Its ability to calm a troubled mind is virtually unsurpassed. It has traditionally been used for thousands of years in meditation and prayer.

Rose – Traditionally used to ease stress, we’ve added rose to our sleep mix to aid relaxation and help you to feel calm.

Vanilla – Whilst not strictly an ‘aromatherapy’ oil, vanilla infusion has been added to the Bee Sleepy blend as it can promote stress relief and relaxation and have sedative effects on the body. It also adds a lovely sweet base note

Jasmine – The divine rich, floral, and slightly fruity fragrance of Jasmine Absolute is ultra-relaxing and is reputed be an effective aid to promoting restful sleep.

A mix of beautiful natural oils for moisturing skin which are also natural sleep enhancers.

Neve’s Bees Bee Sleepy Body Oil is super concentrated so a little goes a long way. Skin lotions and creams are made mainly from water (usually around 60%-80%) mixed with oils or liquid paraffin, and so require emulsifiers and preservatives to mix the oils and stop bacteria growing in the water. Almost all lotions and creams contain chemicals that will kill bacteria in the product and also on your skin. Neve’s Bees prefer not to upset the skin’s natural skin flora so chose not to add water to any of their products. They don’t need to add any synthetic emulsifiers and preservatives. Just pure natural plant oils, as nature intended.

What’s more, their concentrated oils need less packaging and create less emissions when posted out, and with recyclable tins, a refillable option and non-PVC eco-labels, it’s happy vibes all round!

Neve’s Bees Bee Sleepy Body Oil also contains: Apricot Oil, Argan Oil, Jojoba Oil & Natural Vitamin E.

About Neve’s Bees:

When we first moved to this area in 2011 we had the delight of dragging two bored children around various houses to find somewhere to live. On seeing a large stack of honey jars in one house, a grumpy 9 year old Neve pipes up,

“Why have you got all that honey?” to which the owner of the honey replies,
“Because I have bees”
“What, they make all that honey!”
“Yes, and they make wax and propolis and pollinate lots of flowers and trees”
Neve was blissfully quiet for the rest of the afternoon; then later,
“I think we should live in that house with those bees. I’ve spoken with Grandad Jim and I’ve asked him to get me a beehive for my birthday”

Starting from this one hive, and with help from some wonderful local beekeepers and crafts-folk, we developed a thriving apiary and have become part of a lovely beekeeping community. And the rest, as they say, is history!

All our products are made from 100% natural ingredients, organic (wherever possible) and produced here, in our village, in West Oxfordshire.

Next Working Day – We do offer a 24hr delivery service, but we no longer refer to this as ‘Next Working Day’ due to order ‘received by’ times, courier collection times, and picking, packing and prepping times. Whilst we do often get packages out the same day, on a 24hr service so that they arrive the next day, we have found in recent years that the so called “Amazon Effect” has made this term unviable to advertise (that being that as a small family company that are open 9am to 5pm, we cannot receive an order at 8pm, process and ship out the same night and have it on your doorstep the following day).

Saturday delivery – Saturday / Sunday (weekend) delivery is not currently guaranteed or widely available through our usual network of couriers. Some deliveries may well arrive on Saturdays, but this is at the discretion of the courier, and as such when ordering on a Friday for Next Working Day we do not guarantee it will arrive on the Saturday, we / the couriers guarantee it will arrive the next ‘Working Day’ i.e. Monday.

Working days

This term is widely used in delivery information as it refers to Monday through to Friday as being ‘working days’, and weekends are not classed as such. We use around half a dozen different couriers at any one time to give the best, cheapest and quickest delivery to your area across a wide variety of packages, which includes Small and Large Letters, Small and Medium Parcels and also Large Parcels. To have the flexibility to meet these demands we use the following services:

Royal Mail 24hr and 48hr
Despatch Bay 24hr and 48hr
DHL and DX Freight Via DespatchBay Parcel2Go, which includes MyHermes 2 to 3 Day and also 1 to 2 Day
Parcel2Go, which includes MyHermes 2 to 3 Day and also 1 to 2 Day
TNT Next Day
UPS Next Day Drop Off

All of these firms use slightly different terms, but as a general rule collections are made on ‘Working Days’ i.e. Monday to Friday, and deliveries are always done on Monday to Friday, and with Despatch Bay and Royal Mail delivering on Saturdays i.e. 6 days a week for just the delivery side of the Network.

As an example an order placed on a Wednesday at 8am in the morning will be despatched that same day, using the couriers ‘Next Working Day’ service and will therefore arrive on the Thursday the day after. However, an order placed on the Wednesday at 2pm, will be shipped on the Thursday using the couriers ‘Next Working Day’ service and arrive on the Friday. The reason for this is that the couriers have collection times of between 1pm and 5pm, so we cannot guarantee that after 12 noon we can pick, pack and ship your item that very same day due to the couriers various collection times.

If you are in significant need of a ‘Next Day’ delivery we do suggest that you call or email us before placing your order so we can advise you and can avoid any unnecessary disappointment.

We have increasingly found that over recent years many customers can place an order at 8pm at night and expect to be able to receive it the following morning, which we’re unable to do because of the nature of how couriers work, and also because our business is open from 9am to 5pm each day and we do not operate a night shift for packing orders.

Disclaimer: We always endeavour to do our absolute best to pick, pack and ship out your order as quickly as possible. However we do ask customers to understand that we purchase the Delivery Service on your behalf from all of the above mentioned couriers, and as such we entrust them to carry out the final leg of the journey to you. We know that statistically around 98% of orders with courier deliveries are done on time and in accordance with the service that we buy from them. However, that does mean that around 2% do not, this is often for a variety of reasons, but not least because the courier firms are enormous operations that handle tens or hundreds of thousands of packages each and every day, if not millions, and so inevitably parcels may go missing or take longer to deliver than anticipated.

We kindly ask that customers take this into consideration, and do not complain harshly or abuse our staff in the unlikely, but perfectly possible event that your parcel does not arrive in time. We always want happy customers, and we work extremely hard behind the scenes to pull your order together and get it out to you very quickly.
